November Nuggets of Wisdom #2

Never underestimate the power of “fake it ‘til you make it.” It sounds disingenuous, but it will get you pretty far in life. It’s a practical, real-life version of “If you believe it, you can achieve it.”  And it sounds way less corny.

“Writing a novel is like driving a car at night. You can only see as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way.”
- E. L. Doctorow

Respect your elders. They have more to offer you than you might think.

Don’t look down on people who are younger than you. They will surprise you with their insight.
